FASHION XOTES. Some very pretty neckties for summer wear are ot twilled silk, trimmcdjwith variegated fringe or tassel of two contrasting color?. Sleeves for out-door garments are mado with threo crescent shaped cuffs pointing towards the hand, and fastened together by a large silk bow. Pale, self-colored batistes, trim med with lace, white or the same color, or muslin frills and plaiting, will be very well worn when the warm weather comes. Tho Mario Antoinette collar is a novelty, and is mado of black silk laid in large folds and trimmed with a heavy jet fringe, with an edging of laco around the neck. Very tasty little aprsns are worn, covered with trimmings; many will bo mado of colored washing satin, trimmed with musiin or lace, to wear with white dresses. Silk dresses with flounces and po lonaises, or tunics and pelerines of silk grenadine, the same color, will bo much in tavor. The Lesson of the Sky. Ifc is a strange thing how little a general people know about the sky. It ia the part of creation in which nature has done more for the sate of pleasing man, more for the Bole and evident purpose of talking to him and teaching him, than in any other of her works, and it is just the part in which we least attend to her.
