'As a result of the comment that we've gotten, an order has not and will not be issued any time soon, one way or the other,'' Texas Railroad commissioner hearing examiner Jim Houchins said Mon- day. The MKT applied Julv 24 to close the Bastrop and Elgin depots, plac- ing Bastrop under the jurisdiction of the Katv office in Smithville and serving Rein customers through the Taylor office.
