Wyalong Police Court. ! Mo.vdav, August 6th, 1994. (Before Messrs. J. J. AVillianis and F. Conder, Js.P.) George Williams;' was charged with making use of indecent langu age iu Carter-street, Wyalong. The accused, who at the time of the offence, was in company with two fe males, one known as the ' Blazing Stump,' indulged in a display t-f filthy language, which the Bench considei-ed nothing less than 40s eafcli or fourteen days hard labor' conld atone for. ? Lanrence Regan, for a somewhat similar offence, with the addition of a 'drunk and disorderly' charge, had the same penalty imposed. Denis McGrath, charged with having been drunk and disorderly, and the use of obscene langnaee, was only considered half as bad as the other offenders, ..and 20s or seven days was deemed a sufficient punish ment. Narandera Show. The Narandera Show, which took place last week, was a decided success. Mr. Robinson's Dunlop took tho champion prize for blood stallion, and Mr. M. H. Devlin's Silver Bose was awarded a similar honor in the blood mares competition. Father Carroll's Prince aud Monah.took first prize as a buggy pair. Mr. Hiaes' Dandy won me smgie Duggy norse prize, w. weirs Alderman was awarded first honors as a weight carrying hack, and Mr. J. Newton's Restless in the light weight sections. The same horse also carried off the Lady's Hnekney prize. F. A. Smith, Bongongo, Gundagai, wjn the Hunter's prize, with Liberty, and the Maiden juniDers prize with Blondin. H. Cloupli's Mystery won the trot. In the'cattle classes most of the prizes for shorthorns including champion hull, fell to Mr. J. J. Bnylis though Mr. ; M. H. Devli 1 owned the champion cow.
