Mr John O'Leary, the popular Secretary to the' Cairns Divisional Board and Officer-in Charge of the Mulgrave tramway. left by the Cintra on. Saturday uight for Brisbane to confer with Mr W. H. Swallow (Chairman of the Board) regarding the efforts now being made by the Board to secure the extension of the . Mulgrave tramway to Aloomba Mr O'Leary remarked -before leaving that , this was the first holiday he had an opportunity of taking for .nine years. " MORNING POST." "Neither by fear nor by: favor, but by Truth alone.". nutter Moxaiat. St* 3.1897 " THESE BE YOUR GODS 0 ISRAEL." The above words were addressed to a nation who were given at times to the practice of kneeling down aud wor- shiping wooden-headed idol?, and Israel, .when admonished, at once saw tbe error of her, ways and got into an upright position once more.
