Up-to-date Furnishing. SOME USEFUL HINTS. [Newspaper Article] — Robertson Advocate — 10 May 1898

Up-to-date Furnishing. SOME USEFUL HINTS. Mr. Punch's advice to persons about to marry was, ' Don't !' Since Mr. Punch— the London 'gentleman of that persausion — threw off his gem of philosophical nonsense there has been much marrying and giving ia marriage. It's no use telling people not to marry. It is a more friendly thiog to (rive them 'the office' where to get good furni ture at low prices. In Sydney the up-to-date advice to persons about to marry should be — ' Go to A. Hall and Co.'s, in George street' The valne of this advice is that it holds good both in the oase of city people and in tbe case of those who live in the country. If you live in the metropolis, or the suburbs yon mast go right through the big premises in George-street, on the Town Hall Bide (almost-opposite Percy Hordern's), and make your own selection. If furniture is required in the country all you have to do is to send for an illustrated cata logue. When your order comes the furniture will be sent at once wi...
