MELBOURNE CATTLE MARKET. TUESDAY, 13TH OcroBEr. FAT SaEsr.-21,000 were yarded, the bulk of which consisted of shorn merinoes, rngiag from good to prime qualities. The demand was brisk, especially for best descrip tions; an easy clearance was effecten at prices slightly higher than last week's rates. Very few crossbreds yarded. Prime crossbred wethers, from 15s to 17s 6d ; do. do. ewes, from 12 to 13s; do. merino wethers, from 13s to 14s; extra prime and heavy do., from 14s 6d to 15s &l, according to fleece and quality ; prime merino ewes, from 9s to 10s; do. do. wethers, shorn, from s Gd to 9s 6d ; extra prime and heavy do. do., from 10s to 10s 6d; good do. do., from 7s toss; others, from 63; difts of shorn merino ewes, from 4. 6d to 6s 6d.
