The fact that the ConiraiBaion era recinded the rule that necessi tated the appointment of Normal School graduates is an evidence, that the position aadumed by Dr. F. J. Shadd, in his refusal to ap poiut Mrs. Susie Peters, is right. Dr. Shadd adhered strictly to the rule and as soon as that rule was reciudtd he appointed Mrs. Peiera which is an evidence that he had no personal feeling in the matter.
