V ' Coach Itick Ingram's Bar- tlctt Lassies took a second place trophy in the Chilton Tournament and lo3t their first district game in basket- ball action last week A slow start by the Lassies gave Waco Midway Junior Varsity a 61-43 victory in the championship game of the Chilton tournament The Lassies outscored Midway In the second half but could not overcome the first half deficit. Sisters Jean and Joan JOncs led the Bartlctt squad In the tourney and were both named All-Tournament for their efforts Scoring against Midway were Jean Jones 10 Lisa Scott 10 Evelyn Ford 5 Amy Janke 5 Joan Jones 5 and Billlc Jo Daughcrty 2 In the first round of the tourney Bartlctt clobbered China Spring Junior Varsity 57-26.
