Tho Black Murderers; Jimmy Governor was captured early oh Saturday morning last at Jack Wallace's camp' Bobin Creek, by a party of settlors. The outlaw robbed Wallace's camp yesterday, and John Wallace, after Searching for him, found him camping in the bush. He at once located the ! place, went for help, and got with him Alex Caineron of Hastings, John McPherson, of Bobin ; Thos. Green, Thos. Mooro, sen., andthrco sons. They went to the spot and Jay in wait in sight of the outlaw till morning. . When Jimmy ntoved, Thos Groen called on him to surrender, when the black ran and jumped over tho bank. Prices showed a dreadful fall en Thursday's rates, and best beef was worth from 20s to 23s per 1001b. On Friday night last a Bill to regulate the width of tyres on vehicles used for carrying loads was read for the first time. - Two years is toj be allowed to elapse before this shall come into force, there by allowing the tyres at present m use to wear out. The Bowan Park Railway League are to be represented at the reception of tho Minister for Works on tho 17th inst. at Canowindra, iu nil probability in very good force. Statistics have been collec ted for this portion of tlio district, [fro in which we learn that thero a re about 7000 acres of cleared lanil, and about 4 ooo acres at present under wheat. It is estimated that the average yield for Bowan Park last year was abont 17 bushels por acre. Besides this about 5i- tons of butter is made annually at tho : local butter factories and over 100 tons of | wool produced in tho year.
