Concert and Dance. A very successful concert and dance I was held in Mr. \V. H. Winterford's hall. Xambonr, on Friday night, under the auspices of the Xaiiibour St. Joseph's Church, there being upwards of 200 per- j sons present. The hall wjis nicely decor- j ated with palms, while an improvised | stage served as a platform. During the eariv part of the programme Mr. L. W. Isgar, JJ.P., clt the Nambotir Police Court at 2 p!m. on Tuesday, charged with having, on and be tween January 1, npoo, and Novem ber 23, 1903, being then a clerk in the employ of the ^laroochy Shire Council, stolen several sun.s of money, amounting jn all to /,56s 1 rs. gd.
