Depositions wore taken hero Monday mid Tuesday in the case of Carrie Hinkle vs. Administra tor ol' the estate of Claude Jor dan, deceased. The case is on the circuit court docket in Scott county. This is a most unusual case, the polnt-of the matter being the attempt of the plaintiff to prove that she is the daughter of Mrs. Thompson and a sister of Claude Jordan, deceased . M rs. Thomp son claims, now, that the plaintiff is merely an adopted daughter. Some two or three years ago, Claude Jordan, an employee of the Frisco, was killed in a train accident at Chaffee.
