Stennis, Esq., was a business visitor to Roswell, last Saturday. Mrs. A. E. Boyas came down from Roswell on a visit arriving Wednesday. J. C. Green and wife, of Roswell, were in Carlsbad last week, Satur day. Walter Long, of Roswell, was a business visitor to the city last Saturday. A special term of District court con vened in Carlsbad Tuesday of this week, Judge Richardson, the newly ap pointed judge, for the Fifth Judicial district, coming down for that pur- pone. The session is for the hearing of any cases in equity, filing of de murrers and any case which may be tried without Jury.
