In the street. There was less inquiry for Eastern Ei- Charge yesterday than on Monday, but the market continued firm at i prem. selling; dealers paying on Philadelphia and Boston, and on New York. Baltimore remained dull at XX dis. buying, and par telling. In New Orleans Eichange, Coin and Un enrrent Funds, there was no alteration! Wifpourl, Illinois and Wisconsin Notes being purchared at 7 dis. by the Brokers. Business in the Banking quarter was dull generally, though some bouses reported an improvement.
