FROM CARACCAS, From the Curacoa Courant of October 4. We have received Caraccas Gazettes to the 24th of September. An extraor dinary Gazette of the 11th contains an 1 fficial dispatch from col. Pimires to gen. Morillo dated Gulra, 28th August, 1817. and gives an account of hit having marched from Cai upano on the 30lh, with 700 men, to attack Guira. Having arrived there on the S7th and the enemy not coming out to meet him. he made dispositions for storming the place, which was accordingly done, and taken at The point of'the bayonet, amidst a tremendous fire from the patriots, but who were at length Compfelted to retreat on hoard their vessels.
