The attendance of members is yet too limited (about thirty in their seats to-day) to take up bills on their passage. Mr. Ambler introduced a resolution instructing the commutes on Roads, Ate., to enquire into the expediency of authorising tne James River and Kanawha Company to pledge the toils on the Rivanna River for the redemption of any loan which maybe negotiated by the Rivatina Navigation Company ; and Mr. Baldwin presented a memorial from the James River and Kanawha Company asking for a loan to provide for the payment of interest, &c., and Mr. Tabb a memorial from the same com patiy, for aid to complete the tidewater connection. . To our great surprise we learn that two ol our delegates in the legislature, (Messrs. Butler and Anderson) have determined to vote against the bill establishing a line of steamers between this country and Europe, which comes up to-day. This has taken their constituency completely by surprise, 'l hey never drramed of such a thing, and even now find it difficult to believe the fact; for it seems very certain hat nine-tenths of them are in favor of it.
