Thornton Acheron Valley I Defeat Broadford. I Thornton . Acheron Valley journeyed to Broadford on Satur day last, and before a large crowd defeated the home team by 10 points. The play opened and Reeves quickly kicked a point for the .visitors. Broadford replied with two ninorv by Johnson. Good play in the ruck by Williamson and the ball was shot forward where Deas sco red a minor, fol lowed by Broadford (through Green and Trewalla) for two minors. Thornton, with good football by Creaton, Reeves and Long, ( who scored a goal by a brilliant long kick from the bounce) play went forward, and Deas goaled, and shortly after scored another major.
