On Thursday next, 26th inst., Sthe State elections will take place. Nominations were declared on cMonday, and 16 candidates were returned unopposed. In the Eve lyn electorate no less than six nom inations were received. In the Swan Hill electorate Cr H. M'C!efland is opposing Mr John Gray.
