TEMPLESTOWE RIFLE CLUB.   A friendly match took place on Satur- day afternoon between Templestowe and Heidelberg, on the range of the former, and fired over the 200 yards range, 11 men a-side, best nine scores to count. The visitors, considering that they have had very little practice at open range shooting, did creditably under the cir- cumstances. The home team, who have improved considerably lately, won the match with a lead of 41. The local la- dies, as usual, provided afternoon tea, which was much enjoyed by the mem- bers of both teams, Mr Love, the visiting   captain, voicing their appreciation in a neat speech.
