Concert at Doncaster. o lThe generous spirit of the residents of l)oncister was again apparent on Thursday evening, the 5th instant, in thiq Atlleioumn aill, which was crowded to excess. On this occasion the entertainment put before the audi oneo was in the shape of a concert and ball in aid of the funds of the Free Library. The chair was occupied by Mr. A. O. Thoilo, who carried out his arduous dutics in a very oflicient manner. Tihe pro. granmmo opened with a pianoforte solo by Miss Wood, which was excellently playod, showing that that lady had full, control over the instrument. A very laughabloefarco, entitled " Pain. loss Dontistry," was then produced by Messrs. F. M'Namara, Chas. llillman, Curtis. Hilhnan, F. Roche, and Bliss E. Williamson.
