Lawrence conven ed thu first bi'Sfiinu of the United States court for the Western District of the Indiun Territory in Tulsa Mon day afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Oth er ollicers of the court present were: Willium P. Mellette, district attorney, Leo K. Hennett, marshal; H. P. Harri won, clerk; Carroll S. Bucher, deputy clerk; Harlow A. Leckley, assistant district attorney; E. L. Randle, dep. uty United States marshal; U. E. Hardesty, court crier; E. E. Kennett, Sum Harvey, J. W. Hubhard, court bailiffs; Recorder and Clerk of the Court Lorton. The session of the court is being held in the council chamber at the city hall building. The local committee that arranged the docket set for trial for the first and second civil jury days all of the old cases transferred from Sapulpa for the reason that in most of those cases the issues have been made up.
