Iv a recent Eastern paper we lind au extract from one of bis sermons, which reads as follows: "No one—mark this—no one sys tematically reads tbe average nov elette of the day aud keeps either integrity or virtue. "Ob! this is a wide gate of bell. Every panel is made of a bad book or newspaper. Every joint is the Interjoiued type of a corrupt print ing press.
