He was one of the ablest men in the coantry, and by hid course daring the war greatly endeared himself to the loyal masses of the conntry. Aa attempt was made at Fort Scott, a few days ago to get up a meeting on the ely, to endorse Andy Johnson. The "faithful" were all invited to be present. Bat the Bads got wind of it and attended in each numbers as to tarn the meeting into an an ti-Andy affair, and passed resolutions sua mining Congress. Bully for Fort Scott. We mentioned the first case under the Ciril Rights bill last week as occurring at Lafayette, Indiana. The court eustained the negro and pronounced the provisions of the Stale Constitution which prohibited ne groes from going into that State, void and of no force. Cholera.
