In the Christmas Stocking of each member of the family be sure and place one of our little savings bank books—showing a credit, if only a dollar, in favor of the owner of the stocking. Let the children learn the meaning of a bank account; they will take pride in having one of their "very own" and will soon learn how vapidly small sums accumulate and become "worth while." They will form the habit of saving and banking their money—a habit which will be valuable to them all their lives. Deposits draw four per cent. No charge for the bank book—full amount of deposit subject to with drawal at any time. Wishing all a merry Christmas BANK OF COLVILLE I THE LOCAL NEWS I The following letters are in the Colville postoffice unclaimed: Mrs. Lou Miller, C. L. I COUNTY NEWS I Disappointment at failure to receive money which he had tel egraphed for caused Posey A. Moseley of Meyers Falls to shoot himself, probably fatally, at Bill ings, Mont., on Monday. A de layed telegram dated at Colville, Dec. 11, reached Mrs. Moseley several hours after Moseley's rash act, stating money had been forwarded by mail. As soon as Moseley had shot himself he beg ged all within hearing to sum mon a minister, and when one arrived he pleaded with the clergyman to pray for him, as he had been mighty wicked, but for him not to ask questions. Mose ley, who is a printer, and at one time employed on the Examiner, was married four months ago at Bloomfield, Mo. His uncle at Bloomfield is president of a bank in that city. The doctors hold out practically no hope for his recovery. He went to Billings from Meyers Falls a few weeks ago. Z. E. Hayden and wife of Spo kane and G. Schenesse and wife of Fessenden, N.
