----o Swan Hill Electorate. MR JOHN GRAY AT OUYEN. Or Tuesday evening Mr John   Gray, who a represented this constituency in the Legislative As-   sembly for a number of years, and     is again a candidate for the seat, addressed a well attended meeting in the hall and received a good hearing. Mr Oke occupied the chair,   and in introducing the candidate, asked for a good hearing. Mr Gray. who on rising to re- spond was received with applause, said he was there to give an ac- count of his stewardship as their representative for the past three years. He wished to explain his position in the Watt Cabinet. When he was offered an honorary position he at first declined to ac- cept it as he thought it would not be placing sufficient honor on his constituency. Mr Watt asked him to consult his friends, and Sir Alex Peacock pointed out that it would be greatly to the advantage of his constituency for him to accept the position ...
