I thought then the mistake came fronm his heart, but now I per ceive it comes from his head. How could he think my first question "HHow is it so young a member of this or any other Chureh '" hlt any reference to the age of a person. He could not, and he did not, because he begins his explanation by saying, "I understand Nimrod torefer to the length of time Mr. Fox has been con-. nected with St. Luke's." He forgotto men tion that St. Luke's Church has been opened only three years, thereby ackuowlledging ...

TO THE EDITOR OF THE FITZROY CITY PRESS [Newspaper Article] — Fitzroy City Press — 5 August 1882

T?) TH?l EDITOR OF TIlE ITzROT OCIT" eRSs Smi,-In reading MIr. Rodda's answer in last week's issue, relative to the appoint. ment of JIr. Fox, I was struck with the way in which some of "Nimrod's" statements wcre shelved. With regard to the Bishop. I cat safely state that MIr. Fox does not only disagree with that dignity's utterances, but lie has a supreme contempt for him. This, MIr. Fox, has declared to me personally, and also to others in my hearing. I must also disagree with Mr. Irsdla in imputing to " Nimrod " a want of charity, as I am cer tain the latter was only echoing the senti ments of agreat part of the congregation, and had the best interests of thie church at heart. Yours truly, JUSTITIA. JUSTITIA.
