®j]t Ifeta j&te: KOMA, SATURDAY, JANUARY 22, 1875. Mb. Mobt's freezing process, after a rest of nearly sewn years", has again become* a lead ing topic of conversation amongst persons in terested in pastoral pursuits. ^ It first came prominently before the public about €he year 1868, when, owing to the fall'in the price of wool aad-fifittncial pressure, all stockowners, ■were seekinginvain for a market for their almost valueless stock. A theory that pro-' raised ' an inexhaustible market—not alone for the time bfeing, but for all time—was therefore received with great favour in the pastoral world, and many who could ill spare the money subscribed sums ranging from one or two ponnds to as many hundreds for the purpose of bringing the theory to a practical test.
