.Accident. &nbsp; On Saturday afternoon, when riding down tge Gullen road on his bicycle with a friend, Mr. R. A.. Howland &nbsp; of the Crookwell Gazette, had the mis fortune to meet witha nasty accident. From what we can learn it appears both riders were going at a fast pace when by some means Mr. Howland's front wheel struck the step which projected slightly from the bike, with &nbsp; the result that it tore the spokes out of' the wheel and threw the rider with great force on the road. Mr. -How &nbsp; land received a "severe shaking, to gether with some nasty, cuts and bruises, which will necessitate him befing confined to his room for a few days.
