A very interesting trial is now in progress in the Court of Quarter Sessions of Chester oounty, at West Chester. Mrs. Sliiabeth Allison stands charged with the murder of her step-daughter, Caroline Allison, aged 10 or 11 years, and daughter of Robert Allison by a former wife. From a lengthy report in the West Chester Record, we condense the following facts. It appears that, in the spring of 1858, Robert Allison and family moved into a tenant house of John S. Parker, in Wallace township. The family then consisted of the father, the defendant, and three children of whom she was the mother, and Caroline, a daughter of Mr. Allison by a former wife. At that time, and subsequently, Caroline was treated with considerable severity by her step-mother. After the removal of the family Caroline was sent to live with Mr. James Meredith, in the *...

It is regarded as a slight disorder, of too little consequence to excite anxiety, while in reality it is the precursor and oompanion of many of the most-fatal and dangerous _disesaes,and unless early eradicated, it will bring the sufierer to an untimely grave.
