Association, and a di- rector of the National Water Users' returned last night from Washington here he had been called to appear aefore Secretary Lane, to give testi mony concerning the management of tta, various projects, under control I fee Reclamation service. Mr. Etter states that the reports sent out by the eastern papers were Incorrect; they having stated that the Water Users themselves were not united; unorganised, etc. This, Mr. Etter states, is untrue, the various associations being in absolute har mony, and all, without exception, un ited in asking for the removal of Mr. Newell, as director of the Reclama tion Service.
