THE VINTON RECORD. McAHTIiUIt, OHIO, III UKSU A Y.JULY 13,1871 The Judgeship. If there is an v office in the gift of the American people that ibould be filled without regard to political feeling, that office is the judgeship of our Cdurts. If there is any office that should seek the man, and net Um man seek the office, it is that of the Judge who pre Bides over our Courts. The De mecracy, recognizing these acts, last year supported J udge Johnson fur another term of office, and from the best infor mation we can receive from re liable sources it i3 their desire to support Judge I'lyley in like manner this Fall, and that morenient would have been in augurated ere this but for the flank movement of the Has tings Republicans of Jackson coun...
