The Clerk of tiro Court of Common Vleas in Franklin County, in this State, has heretofore acted as Clerk of tho Su preme Court of Ohio. His salary has been about $J00 a year. This has not satisfied our Legislature. They, therefore, pasted a law creating o office of Work of Supreme Court, at a salary of $2,000 it year said Clerk to bo elected by the people of tho State, tho Kiino as tho Judges of tho Court now are.
