Morgan County Republican. CENTRAL MISSOURI FARMING, MINING, REAL ESTATE, RAILROAD AND GENERAL NEWS. -Tenth Year. Versailles, Mo., Thursday Morning, February 18, 1909. No. 5. John P. Gibbs Dead- John F. Gibbs died at Nevada, Mo., Monday morning, Fcby. 14, at 5 o'clock. Mr. Gibbs had gone to Kl Dorado Springs, Mo., some three weeks ago, on account of nervous prostration, but from his arrival there continued to grow weaker, and his wife was called there a week ago last Sunday. As he continued to get leaker all the time it was decided to irnig him home, but on their arrival ill Nevada he was too weak to con tinue the journey, and despite all that 'he best medical skill and tender nursing could do he passed away Monday morning. The remains were brought to Versailles Tuesday night, accompanied by his family and urother, l)r. Gibbs, who had been at his bedside. The funeral address will be delivered by his beloved pas tor, Rev. W. (J. Hewley, at the M. P.. Church, at 1 : 30 o'clock p. m. Th...
