?ajp( I THE LOCAL NEWS I L. M. McFarland has sold to A. P. Frye 160 acres five miles north of the city for $3000. The Colville postoffice will move to its new building tomor row. There will be no call boxes in the new office, but an addition al number of combination boxes will be in use. The lobby will be open at all hours, and the general delivery and stamp windows at the hours as in the past. James E Foster of Cougar Creek was arraigned before Just ice Perkins last week on a charge of assault upon T. M. Boughner, grange organizer, of Narcisse Creek. He pleaded gutlty and was fined $25 and costs. The trouble occurred in front of Boughner's house and resulted in a severe scalp wound for Mr. Boughner. A petition is now being circulated to have Foster placed under bonds to keep the peace, he having made threat to shoot Boughner.
