THE STORY OF A JUoaLEa.-Some a the French journals relate the followinE. anecdote of the late Admiral Hamelin:- " lamelin, when a boy, naged eleven, w' serving on board the frigate Venus, a which his uncle was captain. While on a: cruise in the Indian seas the uncle and nephew were one day ashore together, when a celebrated native juggler went through his performance before them. Among other feats was that of cutting ini two with a sabre a lemon placed on th=' open hand of his his confederate. The captain thought there must be some col: lusion between the two men, and asked, for some one to hold out his hand while; the feat was repeated.
