No less than 15,000. sacks were forwarded by rail during lust week. This is the largeeta quantity tbe farmers of the colony have ever placed on the ?Sydney market in one week. As a result, a large export tiade has been going on, and New South Wales potatoes are now to be found in the markets of Queensland. Victoria, South Australia, and West Australia. The' average -prices have been from £ji 5s to £5 10s, whereas £S is generally regarded as a payable figure.

Mr. Pratteo (of the Direct Supply Oompsny) was present, and the, whole of the subject of the'-price of milk, the. complaints of shortness' nf weight, nod matters affecting the milk trade, were fully dwnEsim.
