For forcing early fcc-lons, tomatoes, <fcc, this prepar-^ cloth is especially adapted, as it can be tacked to boxes of any size Squired and cut to fit them. Little, rough, square boxes, of the proper Slze and height, covered with the Prepared cloth, can be placed over tbe hills m which tomato, melon or °fter seeds are planted, and the plants allowed to „ stand, without transplanting, until all danger of frost is\6ve¥i-wfcfen - Ife* boxes x may be taken off and packed away carefully for another season. The following is a very valuable housewife'a table, which persons not having scales and weights at hand, may readily measure the article wanted to form any recipie without the trouble of weighing. Allowances to be made for an extarordinary dryness or moisture of the article weighed or measured: WEIGHTS AND MEASURES.
