Nov. 28th, 1857. Pun Secac Cmop.-We are very much afraid that th eieavy frost that visited us on Saturday last, has given a fatal blow to the cane. The opinion, that the cane is materially damaged, is universal among our sugar planters; and although they are making good sugar yet, it is evident that as soon as the weather sets in warm, the eane will get sour, and it will then be very difficult to makeany thing else but molasses. This disappointment is sad indeed, as it comes at the very time when the prospec& of an abundant crop were most flattering.
