Ycp, reader, the next draft; and perhaps the next; and still the next, is as sure to conic as time rolls on. The administra tion has announced it, not the time when it will come, nor the number of men to be called for; these will be determined here after, but the plain, unvarnished fact that another draftvrill be made. Chicago, and Cook Countv, Ill's, thought the re rent enrollment and quota there unjust. The bet -wash for trunks ami branebo of fruit trees is made l y dissolving half a pound of potash in two gallons of water. This is applied with a brush at any season, but, perhaps, with most effect in spring. One. or, at most, two applications will rid the stems of trees of the bark louse and render it smooth and flossy.
