Beecher -furnishes the K"ew York Ledger with the fol lowing on a very interesting subject: Tho inconsistencies of men's di etary tastes are as noble as their mo ral conduct. We ridicule the Chi nese for eating puppies, while we are eating lobsters. We eat shrimps but shuidor at the Arab's locusts. Why should there be such a po ther made about worms as an article of diet?
