The meeting of the commercial club secretaries and newniapcr men held at Pecos from Monday to Wednesday inclusive, this week, was a success despite the fact that many of the clubs and rywupapers of both Eastern New Mexico and West Texas seemed by their act of remaining away to have but little confidence in the ulti mate success of the new association, the first of its kind in the United States.
