(Continued from page one) DAMON AND PYTHIAS pathos was wonderful, and at the parting scene the audience was in tears. She was supported in the scene by little Pauline McCarty, who assayed the part of Orion, Damon's child, and bv her graceful acting showed her training. Arria was played by Miss Pres ton. Miss Preston's rendition was extremely characteristic, and she showed herself perfectly at home in every situation. The supporting characters of the play were equally well enacted, and words ol praise are due to each and every person in the entire cast. Mrs. Addleman with little Paul ine McCarty in her laughable stunt, the Candy Kid, was highly pleasing to all. Little Miss Russell delivered the prologue opening the play. She is a sweet little child, and her rendi tion of the difficult lines Was great ly appreciated. Little Eula Street, in her mono logue! was very original and ren dered in good taste. Also her singing was a strong feature among the specialties in the entertainment. Mi...

Clean Sweep m the Primaries OPPOSITION PUT TO ROUT For&ker's Chances for Presiden tial NominaKon Go Glimmering Columbus, O., Feb. 12 The net result of the Republican primaries held throughout Ohio yesterday was in favor of Win. H. Taft as the nominee for President. Four delegates at large, twenty-two dis trict delegates to the national con vention in Chicago and a list of delegates to the state convention to be held March which will be unanimously in his favor, were se lected. No opposition worth mentioning developed. The Supreme Court destroyed all chances of success for the Foraker forces in Cuyahoga county by declaring that the Taft county committee was the only val id organization of its kind in that county and the selection of dele gates went by default, no ticket being placed in the held against the Taft candidacy. In Knox county the opposition to Taft had brought an independ ent" ticket into the field, "the in dependents," however, being ...
