SENSENBRENNER, Manf. 1039-1047 Fourth St. SAN DIEGO FIAT LUX. An announcement in yesterday's PROGRAM regarding the serenade at Miss Blatt's tent was confirmed today, and it appears to be a more serious affair than at first reported. The vocalists were Messrs. Weiss, Wilkins, and Thill, with some individual, who is still running loose, playing upon a zither. We give It in full: We came here this evening On purpose to say, Good-bye, my ladies, good-bye; We are sorry the Blatts Are going away. Good-bye, my ladies, good-bye, Bye, Oh, my lady, etc We've been to La Jolla And Tia Juana, too Good-bye, my ladies, good-bye; And now we come To...

It is proper to state that though the proprietors are interested in this publication in the same manner that they are interested in everything that pertains to the Tent City, they are in no sense responsible for the opinions or expressions of its editorial writer. He writes to instruct and amuse and prides himself upon his veracity; but if at any time he is caught being too economical of the truth or too highly coloring a fable the editor alone is the one to be taken out and shot. SENSENBRENNER, Manf. 1039-1047 Fourth St. SAN DIEGO A DISCOVERY. Yesterday morning very early the editor was pursuing a two-line news item around the camp. He missed it there, followed it to the ferry, across the bay, hot after it up-town, and back again to the Santa Fe depot, where he arrived just in time to see the two-line item carried away on the noon train. Johnson will fail to put in an appearance, for the worthy Captain is represented in a picture frantically waving the Stars and Stripes, and from t...
