VIOLENT STORM SENSATIONAL INCIDENT. RAYWOOD, Wednesday. [Newspaper Article] — The Ballarat Courier — 1 January 1914

VIOLENT STORM   SENSATIONAL INCIDENT.   RAY WOOD. Wednesday. A severe storm passed over the town about 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday. From early morning there were indications of a   storm approaching from the north, clouds of dust appearing at times. About 10 o'clock several peals of thunder were heard at a distance, and a few light showers of rain, accoompanied by hail fell. Between 1 and 2 o'clock the wind blew with great force from the north, ac- companied by heavy rain, which lasted fully 30 minutes, 43 points being regis- tered. When the storn was at its height the wind tore off a sheet or two of iron from the roof of the residence of Mr   M'Kellar, and the whole building col- lapsed. Mrs. M'Kellar and an old lady, Mrs M'Lellan, with three of Mrs M'Kel-   lar's little ones, were in the front room at the time, and fortunately escaped in   jury, although the furniture and beds   were smashed and be...

LITTLE BOY AT BALLARAT SUFFERED WITH A BAD HAND AND FOOT. "THE FLESH WOULD BREAK AWAY FROM HIS FOOT." REXONA QUICKLY HEALS. "My little boy had very bad sores on his foot and his hand for a good while," writes Mrs A. Sullivan. 47 Humffray street, Ballarat, Vic. "He could not put his boot on, and he used to hop on one foot all over the place. His foot looked very bad. I tried a number of different ointments, but nothing seemed to do him any good. In fact, he seemed to be get-   ting worse. The flesh would break away   from his little foot. His father said, 'You must get something for that child's foot, it looks so bad.' I happened to hear of Rexona Ointment at the time, s0 I purchased a box and put a little on his     hand and foot. It began to do its work at once, the sores began to heal up splen- didly, and in no time were healed. It is   really the best ointment I Iove ever come across, and I shall never be without a ...
