To the Reseue. [Newspaper Article] — The Shoalhaven News and South Coast Districts Advertiser — 14 February 1891

To the Rescue. When nn artiolo is brought forward and all its patrons praise it, and allow that it possesses the properties that the manu facturers claim for it, and which possesses virtues and merits which are universally acknowledged both by press and public, such endorsement must really prove beyond the slightest shadow of a doubt the intrinsic merit of that article. The unparallelled success which has attended the introduction of Clements Tonic to1 suffering mankind, and the universal praise bestowed upou it by influential and well known persons in tho community, all conclusively proves that this article is un doubtedly genuine. Clements Tonic has done more good in the last two years in Australia than all the other medicines put together can ever claim to have done, and there is not a city, town, villago or street but what there are people resident in who are willing to testify to the wonderful efficacy of this renowned remedy. For instance Mrs. Bowie, Ashton House, Newman-stroe...

Export of Surplus Butter. THE PRO RATA QUESTION. [Newspaper Article] — The Shoalhaven News and South Coast Districts Advertiser — 28 February 1891

Ssport of Surplus Butter. THE PRO RATA QUESTION. Mr. Denham, speaking at the Kan garoo Valley Show luncheon on Thursday last, said that as a judge of dairy produce he had with his col leagues found it very difficult to select between some of tho many excellent exhibits of butter at that show, and he noted that nearly all the prizes in that class had gone to the colored ex hibits, and the judges would ratder have had the first-prize exhibit of factory butter not quite so high. With deference to Mr. Colo he must say that dairy produce formed their most important section. The past two seasons had been most prolifio, and they found butter coming from every where, right from Cootamundra, Mudgee, Albury, &c. Consequently there was a big surplus, and not only of the best quality but of every quality. Last year the exportation was by a syndicate, and they sent away the best, the remainder having to be dealt with by tho agents, who shipped it away as best they could. Tho first sales ...

Saved, from Misery. Mrs. Fanny Dent, wife of a gentleman employed iu tho Lambtou collci ies, kindly allows us to publish the fellowingfacts of her interesting ca*e and wonderful ro covery, which wo gather from her corres pondence, and which wo shall bo glad to allow anyone to peruse who wishes to do so. Mrs. Dent has been in a state of extreme debility for twelve yrs., frequently quite unable to do any work, the lightest kind causing great fatigue, with severe pains in tho limbs, back, and left side.
