EXTIRAORDINARY R.EVELA TIONS. A. special- board of inquiry sat at Stawell on the 5th instant, fbr the lurpose of taking evidence, and ad vising the Minister of Lands *as to whether :the apset prices fixed on land in the borough of Stawell, and adver tised for sale on the 12th January were too high or not. Messrs. Skene (Surveyor-General) and. Allan (In spector of Surveys) presided. The upset prices placed on the land varied -from £16 to £75 per acre.
