TIN HAT DAY "The old Tin Hat," symbol of pro tection to the fighting men in war, has become a badge of protection in the time of peace. The miniature steel helmet .vhich will be on sale prior to Anzac Day is the; emblem of the Tin Hat Day Appeal sponsored by the United Returned Soldiers' Fund, comprising the three Organ isations housed in the Anzac Mem orial viz. the R.S.S. & A.I.L.A., Limbless Soldiers' Association and the T.B.S. & S.
