(By Old Chum in the "Gundagai   Independent."   The death of an old man named James Murphy at Buckley's Cross ing last week recalls to mind the fact that deceased was in the early seventies placed on his trial and ac quitted for the murder of his wife, Mary Murphy. And, perhaps, in   the dark pages of the history of crime in sunny New South Wales there is not recorded a more cruel and fiendish outrage than that of the murder of Mary Murphy.
