BUSHRANGING IN NEW SOUTH WALES. [Newspaper Article] — Kilmore Free Press and Counties of Bourke and Dalhousie Advertiser — 20 April 1865

BUSIIRANGING IN NEW SOUTH WALES. --- BEx HALL ..tD His G;AYn.-The strenu ous efforts made in the South to capture these villians seem tobe harrassingand telling upon them with terrible eflect, and the ac counts we read of the nervousness exhibited by HIall, and the watchfulness and the sus picion they display towards all whom they meet, tell of the straining vigilance they are compelled to maintain in order to elude cap ture. A gentleman, lately from the Lachlan informs us that the bushrangers were met in the bush in that locality thoroughly worn out I and knocked up with their journey across the country. They were in a miscrable plight, being compelled to lead their horses over the mountain passes, and the tramp had swollen and inflamed their feet. The ,uccess of their robbery of MIr. Jones's store will probably enable them to purchase safety for a time; but the pursuit should be kept up with un yielding vigor on all sides, so with the terror which is inspired with the Felons' Appr...
