The part for mixing and handling syrups as well as bottling should be screened against flies. The Spring Hill Graded School at Austin is a two-room struc. ture, the lower floor of which is used for teaching purposes, The light enters these rooms from three sides thereby making it unsatisfactory. These rooms should be arranged so that the light might enter from the left and rear of the students. The heating and ventilation of the building needs to be given more attention. The school grounds are rather small; there are several stumps that should be removed and also one or. two trees have been cut down and left in the yard. The water supply comes from a spring under the hill. This spring is made up of several springs and gives indications of being most excellent water and there is an abundance ...
