NUMBIB WINNFIELD-BIENVILLE BALL GAMES A Series of Three Games Played Here last Friday and Saturday :in which Winnfield Won all. This Victory Makes our Team Eligible for the Cup at Baton Rouge Next Week. Our boyshave again demonstrated that they have no superiors in this State in the base ball line. Last Fri day and Saturday our team played three games winning with the scores 11-5, 7-2 and 8-3. "Doe" Barnes pitched the first game and fanned man after man, keepirg them completely at his mercy. The score was ,10 to 2 until the last half of the eighth wvhen Bienville had a batting rally and made three points.: But the most laughable as ,ell as excitii g feature: of the whole game was when "Shorty" Huffman got into a tight fit between 2nd and. 3rd.,; He was kept busy keeping out of the way of the ball....
